Audi A3 1.6 TDI: Gets 71.3 mpg (U.S.)!

Finally – the Audi efficiency challenge has ended and I have to say that the Audi A3 1.6 TDI actually stood up to everything that they were hoping for. The challenge involved twenty different cars and SUVs and they all arrived in Italy and I have to say that the Audi A3 1.6 TDI actually covered the distance at an average of 53.5 mpg. This is fantastic for a mid-sized sedan.

However, the Audi A3 1.6 TDI actually brought along more than just the high-mileage per gallon, it also was extremely high-performance. The drive itself was absolutely incredible and I have to say that people who are looking for a car that looks great and performs well … should certainly invest in the Audi A3 1.6 TDI.

It is after all, one of the best hybrid cars on the market – up to 71+ miles per gallon? Can’t get better than that!

Now, I know that Jaguar is a car that is classified as luxury – however I did not ever think that they would come out with something that would be construed as a hybrid. However, that is exactly what Jaguar is working on. They are working on a UK government funded project that has been dubbed Limo-Green, which is pretty cool actually.

The basic goal of this particular project is to develop and build a series of hybrid luxury cars which are meant for people who are still seeking that luxury type of car but they are still going to be helping the environment by not emitting so many emissions. The greatest thing about these luxury cars is that they will actually run on a lithium battery pack.

If you are looking for a brand new luxury car – wait a little while and you might be able to get a hybrid luxury car!

The All New 2010 Chevy Spark!

When you think about GM – I think that the last thing that you really think about is an electric car … seriously. However, GM is changing their face completely and they are certainly gearing a lot of their cars over to the greener side of things, which to me is something that is awesome. Not only are they coming out with newer and fresher hybrid cars, but they are better! That is what the 2010 Chevy Spark is all about.

This is a car that is not only going to be awesome, but is actually was given the green light to start designing and production. The 2010 Chevy Spark is going to be awesome in my mind, not only will it open up a brand new line for GM, but I think that the fact that they are coming up with a completely electric car is pretty damn cool!

So if you want different, fresh and hot – the 2010 Chevy Spark is going to be it for next year!

The Toyota Plug-In Prius Concept: Frankfurt Motor Show!

When you are looking for a hybrid car – where is the first place that you are going to go? To your Toyota dealer of course! However, if you want to see some of the newest concept cars for hybrids by all of the different automakers, you should take a trip and come see the Frankfurt Motor Show which is coming up! This particular show is going to feature everything from the Toyota Plug-In Prius Concept all the way to all of the newest and best hybrids cars on the market or soon to be on the market.

However, w are going to talk about the Toyota Plug-In Prius Concept – this incredible concept car is actually going to be a car that is supposed to plug in, instead of having a gas tank at all. While Toyota right at the moment is not giving up any details, there has to be a lithium ion battery pack somewhere in that sports car – or at least we hope there is.

Just remember, the Toyota Plug-In Prius Concept is going to be featured at the Frankfurt Motor Show – I can promise you that one!

The Toyota Highlander FCHV-adv Still Running Strong!

We all know that Toyota is the leading car company – however, what you might not know is that Toyota is actually the leading car company for hybrid cars. They are definitely one of those companies that care truly about the environment and they are using all of their resources to come up with a car that runs on no fuel at all or on very little fuel. Take the Toyota Highlander FCHV-adv, this car is definitely one SUV that I am into – it is a hydrogen fuel cell SUV!

Now, currently, they are testing the Toyota Highlander FCHV-adv and this car is actually topping out at about 431 miles right now without having to refuel itself with gas – just with H2. This car is honestly one of the coolest and while it might not be on the market and available until 2015, I am so excited about it!

So if you are looking for a car that is a hybrid – you should take a look at Toyota as the company and Toyota Highlander FCHV-adv as the SUV!

Honda Civic Hybrid: It Is Gaining Attention!

When it comes to Honda – we all know that the Honda Civic is one of those cars that everyone in the world wants to own simply because it is hot – sexy and runs fantastic! I am serious – you can purchase yourself a Honda Civic and be set for most of your life with that car because they are so well-made. Honda cars in general are extremely well made and while the body might go – the engine will still run forever.

However, we are talking specifically about the Honda Civic that is a hybrid. Hybrid cars nowadays are some of the best cars on the market and they are certainly one car that people are constantly looking into buying. That is one of the main reasons why Honda decided to come up with the Honda civic hybrid.

The civic hybrid is cool – I have to tell you, it is one car that is so cool, so chic and it is a hybrid that you really want to drive!

Honda is by far my favorite, favorite, favorite brand of cars. I just think that owning a Honda is something that is so chic, so sleek and absolutely incredible all the way around! Now that I know that Honda is coming out with a Hybrid car in 2010? Well, I am all over that! The Honda Insight 2010 is actually a fantastic car and it is priced under $20,000.00, which is perfect for those of us that are looking for a great yet affordable car.

The cool thing about this beautiful car is that it is a hybrid but it is combine with a Honda Civic Hybrid, which to me is absolutely incredible. Whether you are looking for a car for your family or you are looking for just a car for yourself, Honda absolutely has you covered all over the place!

Honda’s are known for their engines as well, so if you combine their engine technology with the hybrid technology, you know that you are going to be getting a car that lasts you quite a while!

2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid Car: Check This Car Out!

I have to say that when I found out that Mercury was coming out with their own hybrid car, I was just a little skeptical that it was going to happen! After all, they are pretty late in the game, however, this car is definitely promising to be awesome and I have to say that I am super excited! The car is going to be the 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid and it is absolutely going to be incredible!

The engine is going to be a 2.5 liter with a 4-cylinger and it is going to be mated with an electronically controlled and continuously variable transmission or e-CVT. This car is actually going to have all sorts of different features that a lot of the other hybrid cars do not have … for example a smaller, lighter, nickel-metal hydride battery and an enhanced electronic throttle control.
